Ms Sunel Van Der Merwe is a female Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist.
Sunel graduated as a dentist in 2007 (South Africa) but for now is focusing on providing Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Sunel has a wide variety of dental experience ranging from being a dentist in emergency hospitals in South Africa to exposure to various Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene practices in Auckland and Tauranga as well as being an Oral Health Lecturer and clinical educator at AUT University since 2013 covering all aspects of theory and practical.
Sunel has undertaken study in tertiary teaching and post-graduate study in Advanced dental knowledge at AUT University.
She is passionate to enhance the overall oral health of her patients and preventing disease in later life. Her biggest aim is to provide patients with a comfortable and pleasant dental visit and let her patients walk out with a smile and feeling amazing.
