Ms Rose Davies is a female Dental Hygienist.
Rose graduated in 1995 in from Otago University in Dunedin. Previous to this she worked as a School Dental Therapist having graduated in 1987 from Victoria University Wellington.
The most enjoyable part of her role is the ability to bring about change - that is a shift/change in the behaviour/habits of her patients to allow for both improved oral and general health. She enjoys working one-on-one with the practice patients, with the thrust of her work being in motivation towards improved oral health.
Her dental interests include - Maintaining healthy dental behaviours to allow for prevention of periodontal disease and conservation of healthy natural teeth. Rose also has an interest in periodontitis and its systemic effects and human nutrition.
Rose attends both Lumino and NZDHA conferences and also keeps informed by reading articles of work related interest.
