Chris Pine is the Managing Director and Head Clinician at DentureTech. With decades of experience in the dental industry, Chris is one of a select group of clinicians in New Zealand to hold an Implant Scope of Practice. He is also a certified BPS (Biofunctional Prosthetic System) lecturer, having taught both nationally and internationally.
Known for his dedication, precision, and genuine care, Chris brings enthusiasm and expertise to every patient interaction. His commitment to excellence is evident in every detail, helping DentureTech deliver results that are both functional and life-changing.
DentureTech is proudly a family-owned business, with Chris’s wife Vicki playing an active role in its operations. Together, they have built a trusted company that puts people first.
Chris completed a three-year business development programme through ESP, which played a key role in DentureTech’s growth and continued success. His vision is for DentureTech to become a globally recognised Clinical Dental Laboratory, known for producing the highest quality dental prostheses. Reflecting this ambition, DentureTech was awarded Second Place for Best Presented Clinic at the 20th Biennial Conference in Australia.
The company has also been recognised for its outstanding customer care, winning the Excellence in Customer Service award at the Westpac Business Awards.
In 2016, Chris launched The Chris Pine Foundation, providing dentures to those in the community who would otherwise go without. His contribution to the community through this initiative was formally recognised by the North Harbour Business Association, reflecting his deep commitment to making a positive difference beyond the clinic.
