Dr Joe Zhou is a male General Dentist.
Dr Joe Zhou is the Principal Dentist and Founder of Bright Start Dental, alongside our sister clinics Knoxfield Dental Care and McKinnon Dental Care.
Joe migrated to New Zealand with his family at a young age and grew up in Wellington. He later pursued his dental studies at the University of Otago, where he developed a strong foundation in comprehensive dental care. In addition to his dental qualifications, Joe has also completed a Juris Doctor degree, reflecting his broad academic interests and commitment to professional excellence.
He is well known for his friendly manner and gentle touch—qualities that form the cornerstone of his patient-centred approach to dentistry.
Joe enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in orthodontics and oral surgery. He has gained valuable clinical experience working in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Dunedin Hospital in New Zealand, as well as the Oral Surgery Department at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.
