Dr Matthias Stamm is a male General Dentist who speaks German (as well as English).
Matthias is a highly experienced general dentist with extensive training in oral surgery, periodontology, and implantology. Born in Wuppertal, Germany, Matthias was a talented athlete and ballroom dancer in his younger years. After completing his apprenticeship as a dental technician in 1990, he attended dental school at the University of Freiburg, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) and his PhD in 1996. Matthias went on to complete his training in oral surgery, dental implantology, and periodontology in 1998.
Matthias has given lectures all over the world on various topics of dentistry. He has spoken in the United States, Germany, France, Hungary, India, Thailand, Switzerland, Spain, and China. In addition to his work as a dentist and lecturer, Matthias has also held various positions in the dental community, including Head of the Study Group, "Implantology and Restorative Dentistry – Germany" from 2003 to 2007.
In 2016, Matthias and his family moved to New Zealand, where he started working as a dentist at Kowhai Dental in early 2018. He was inspired by Jeff Joy's plans to improve the dental health of kiwis and has been offering services in oral surgery, implantology, and periodontology. Matthias is passionate about making good dentistry affordable while still maintaining the highest standards of dentistry.
