Dr Bob Yang is an experienced and highly regarded dentist who has been providing patient-centred care since graduating from the University of Otago in 1998. With over 25 years of clinical experience, he offers a comprehensive approach to dentistry that combines advanced techniques with a strong focus on long-term oral health.
Born in Taiwan and raised in New Zealand, Dr Yang completed his secondary education in Palmerston North before pursuing his dental degree at the University of Otago. He began his career with hospital-based roles in Wellington and Southland, where he further developed his skills in oral surgery and complex treatment planning.
Today, Dr Yang leads a well-established private practice on Auckland’s North Shore, with a particular interest in cosmetic, restorative, and orthodontic dentistry - including both clear aligner therapy and fixed braces. He is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalised, evidence-based care.
A lifelong learner, Dr Yang is committed to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry. He has trained with internationally renowned educators and is a graduate of both the Kois Centre in Seattle and the OrthoEd orthodontic program in Australia. His ongoing professional development also includes advanced education in aesthetic and implant dentistry through institutions such as UCLA and the Fahl Centre in Brazil.
