Dr Nina T Vasan is a female Specialist Paediatric Dentist.
Nina graduated from Otago University (New Zealand) with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery in 1990 and worked in Auckland, in both the public (Auckland Hospital and Middlemore Hospital) and private sector for the following 6 years.
Nina completed specialist paediatric dentistry training at Melbourne University and The Royal Childrens Hospital (Melbourne) in 1998 and graduated with a Masters in Dental Science.
Subsequent to this she completed Fellowship into the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, winning the College Medal for eminence in her field.
In 1999, Nina established New Zealand's first private paediatric dental practice. She is also co-founder of the Levacare Group of companies. In 2008, Kidz Teeth Limited was formed. This is a strategic partnership between Lumino Dental Limited (a subsidiary of Abano Healthcare Group Limited) and Dr Nina Vasan (Panacea Growth Solutions Limited).
She is mother to two children, Shaquille and Sasha. She enjoys going to the gym, yoga and shopping!
