Dr Mark P Ewing is a male Specialist Orthodontist.
After graduating with a BDS from the University of Otago, Mark began his career at Waikato Hospital as a maxillofacial house surgeon. He spent two years in New Zealand and London in general dental practice before moving to Rochester, New York, where he qualified as an orthodontist at the Eastman Dental Center.
He then joined the cranial facial department of the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, as a clinical research fellow. He spent two years there before returning to Hamilton in 1988 to open his own practice and raise his family.
Mark is a published expert on the treatment of cleft palate in children, and is the consulting orthodontist for Waikato Hospital’s cleft palate team.
