BDS (Otago), General Dentist
Dr Marius Mocke is a male General Dentist who speaks Afrikaans (as well as English).
Marius Mocke graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in 2010. He is interested in all aspects of general dentistry with a specific focus on surgical/difficult extractions and endodontics.
His goals are to establish and integrate himself into the local community with a long-term commitment in looking after their health and satisfaction. Professionally, he would like to develop his skills in the areas of endodontics and surgical extractions and keep up to date with latest developments in dentistry.
What Marius loves most about his job is the variety of workplaces and people he’s worked with, having worked in rural and remote (outback) communities, regional and coastal locations, with the Royal Flying Doctors’ Service, high-end private practice, or volunteer work in East Timor and now Queenstown, it’s provided him with exposure to diverse people and places that keep the work interesting and fulfilling. On a personal level, he also loves when he can dispel the old stigma of dentistry being painful and rough and provide patients with a positive, gentle, and pain-free experience.
