Dr Kimberley A Timmins is a female Specialist Orthodontist.
Dr Kimberley Timmins graduated first place in her dental class with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction from the University of Otago in 2003. Among other academic awards, Kimberley was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal in Clinical Dentistry for the top clinical student in her graduating class as well as the Harvey Brown Medal for Academic Excellence and Burt Medal for Excellence in Orthodontics. Following graduation, Kimberley worked for two years as a dental house surgeon at Auckland’s Greenlane and Middlemore Hospitals as part of the Maxillofacial team, before working as a dentist in private practice in Auckland. In 2008 Kimberley returned to the University of Otago where she undertook her post-graduate specialist training and graduated with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics in 2010. Following graduation Kimberley travelled to Adelaide to be examined for entry to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Kimberley successfully gained memberships with both colleges and now holds both an MOrthRCSEd and MRACDS in Orthodontics.
