Dr Jeff Jones is a male General Dentist.
I grew up in the small central North Island town of Taumaranui. From there I went to Waikato University and did a dentistry intermediate year. After being accepted into the Dental School at Otago University, I moved to Dunedin to finish my studies.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1993, and then worked as a Dental House Surgeon at Dunedin Hospital for a year.
This job involved providing dental care to people with medical or intellectual problems that influenced their dental care and also treating facial injuries. I then moved to Wellington to work in private practice where I have been since. I have been part of the team at Symes de Silva & Associates since 2000.
My main interest outside work is classic cars and I run a wedding car business using a couple of my “pride-and-joys”. I am currently restoring a 1970 Citroen D Special. When not playing with the cars, there is a house to renovate. I also enjoy running and going to the gym.
