Dr Jane E Sherrit is a female General Dentist.
Jane is passionate about helping her patients thrive with great oral health. Dentistry is not always fun or inexpensive so by assisting people to maintain their oral health and better care for themselves, their lives are enhanced. Not only this the community is also enhanced as the transmissible decay-causing oral bacteria are controlled, dental work lasts longer and everyone has more to smile about!
Jane is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association and the New Zealand Institute of Minimal Intervention Dentistry. This helps to stay abreast of current techniques and dental specialist networks.
Jane studied for her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at Otago University. She is a community dentist at heart and has worked in London at BP’s International Headquarters, with the Mercy Ships in Belize and in with street children in Kathmandu, Nepal. She has twice been awarded Wrigley’s Community Dental Service grants for projects in the Ruapehu community.
