Dr Jacques Imbeau is a male General Dentist.
I am a dentist with a specific interest in integrative dental and natural health and a natural medicine practitioner. As a dentist my scope of practice is as a general dental practitioner and I am registered as such with the Dental Council of New Zealand under the HPCA Act 2003. I completed a DEC in Health Sciences at Marie-Victorin College in 1976 and graduated in 1980 with a D.M.D. ( doctorate in dental medicine ) from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Montreal, Canada, studied for and passed the New Zealand Dental Registration Examination ( NZDREX ) in 1993 at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Otago in Dunedin and gained my NZ dental registration as a general dental practitioner in early 1994 (DCNZ– DD-2763).
As a natural medicine practitioner I am registered with Natural Health Practitioners New Zealand ( NM-2447 - Nutrition, biochemistry and homeopathy ) and I am registered as a full professional member of the New Zealand Natural Medicine Association ( NZNMA-0053). I am also on the executive board of the NZNMA and the registrar. In 1998 I studied for and passed the fellowship in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine ( FACNEM) and I am a current full professional member of the Australasian College for Nutritional and Environmental Medicine.
I am also a full member of the following professional bodies: the Australasian Integrative Medicine Association, the New Zealand Dental Association the Auckland Dental Association, the International Team for Implantology, and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. I am a certified instructor in through-transmission alveolar ultrasonography and a published author on such maxillofacial bone disorders as ischaemic bone disease and oral osteoporosis as well as being SMART certified by the IAOMT.
